Heidi Klum was born on June 1, 1973, in Bergische Gladbach, a small city in Cologne, Germany. In 1991, while she was still in high school and doing well in mathematics and art, Heidi was encouraged by her friend Karin to participate in a modeling competition. Although Heidi was reluctant at first, she finally gave in. God Bless Karin that she persuaded her to take this line. Or we guess whole world would have been robbed of a presence as commanding and as godly as Heidi Klum.
